The Institute of Business Administration or IBA is a private university in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Founded in 1955, it is one of the oldest business school outside North America. Established by the Pakistani government with the technical support from the Wharton Schooland the University of Southern California, it remained a constituent school with the University of Karachi until 1994 when it was granted university status. It is one of the most selective Pakistani institutions, and has notable alumni such as Mamnoon Hussain, Asad Umer and Quentin D'Silva.
