One of the most famous jobs known for sleeping in one city and waking up in another. The main requirements for such a job vary for each airline but generally, you have to be tall enough to reach the overhead cabins, be able to stand for extended periods of time and have good communication skills. Knowing extra languages is a plus but you have to check with your local airline to see their requirements.
CRUISE SHIP WORKER
Cruise ships have loads of options for you to choose from. You don’t have to have a specific set of qualifications to apply for the job. Jobs can range from being a server on the ship or helping out with technicalities on the ship. There are all sorts of jobs on cruise ships. It is fairly well paid and serves as an opportunity for you to travel all over the world through the waters. However, if you have a fear of water or get seasick easily this may not be the job for you!
ENGLISH TEACHER
Skilled in English and willing to teach? You may have a shot at teaching abroad. Many countries that aren’t mainly English speaking often look for a teacher with good language skills to help teach children in schools. You are required to have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) beforehand. In the covid-19 world if you are applying to teach English abroad it is more than likely you will have to work from home and teach online.
FREELANCE TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHER
This can be a tricky job to earn money from Photography. Beforehand you do have to make sure you already have a name amongst the photography community. It is difficult to upload and automatically be able to sell prints. You can either upload your prints directly online or to a website. You can also sell your prints directly to be used in magazines, clients, books, websites etc.
INTERNATIONAL AID WORKER
If you are someone who is interested in helping others or has participated in volunteer work. You can consider applying as an aid worker for the Red Cross or USAID. However, it is quite a taxing job which requires you to visit countries in dire need of resources, shelters etc. These countries can be suffering through war, famine etc. You need to be prepared for these situations and have to consider multiple factors before applying for such a job. It can be extremely taxing and tiring but in the end, you are working for children in need and helping them towards a better life.
