Education Fields in Pakistan: Creative and Design

The field of Creative and Design includes the end-to-end process of designing and producing a product, service, or a process. The field is quite broad and at times, the boundaries between design and sciences blur and overlap. Design can include multidisciplinary fields such as Art Design, Engineering Design, and Production Design. The selection of a design degree is largely based on the interest in these particular fields. The dynamic world of art and design provides an array of career opportunities from designing floral arrangements to creating movie sets. The range of art and design careers provides opportunities for just about every creative person. Art and design careers such as graphic designer and interior designer combine creativity with practical skills, whereas a fashion designer career relies more on creativity.

Following fields and degrees fall in the area of Creative and Design. Duration of all degrees is 4 years (8 Semesters) in which two semesters are taught in a year. Performing arts have options of diplomas rather than degrees.
